Kenpal has a full line up of vitamin/mineral premixes for all poultry including pullets, layers, broilers, and turkeys. These vitamin/mineral premixes are designed to meet the needs of today’s high producing birds with an emphasis on achieving maximum performance.

Each program is available in three different versions tailored to the unique requirements of each operation. The first version is a macro premix; this includes all the required vitamins and minerals including calcium and phosphorus. The second version is a low calcium premix. Producers that wish to add their own calcium source on farm would require this type of premix. The third version is a low calcium, low phosphorus premix. Producers that wish to add their own calcium and phosphorus sources on farm would require this option. The benefits of the second and third versions would be the increased flexibility to respond to potential changes in the calcium and phosphorus requirements in a more timely nature.

Kenpal’s layer program does incorporate the phytase enzyme. Research has shown that feeding phytase will improve the utilization of phosphorus in the layers diet, and reduce phosphorus in the manure, which is becoming increasingly important as more and more emphasis is being placed on environmental stewardship programs in today’s farming operations.
